  • St. Catharines Record Show
    The St. Catharines Record Show takes place This Sunday, 10:30 am-4:00 pmat the Grantham Optimists Youth Centre, 188 Linwell Rd. 

    At the show there will be designated 'Alzheimer's Society charity tables',   full of $1 items of every music format (vinyl, cd, cassette) and genre, DVDs & Video cassettes, too. 
     
    Guaranteed you'll find a serious bargain while helping support the families and those who are suffering the ravages of Alzheimer's disease and Dementia. 
     
    Fyi...all vendors at the record show accept cash only, and there is no ATM on site.

  • Let's Hike!

    Ready to explore the great outdoors but not sure where to start? Let’s Hike! is the perfect introduction for anyone new to hiking. Learn what to pack, how to use hiking poles, and discover local trails to get you started on your journey with confidence. This session is led by Ruth Moffatt from the Iroquoia Bruce Trail Club and is generously supported by a Municipal Grant from the Town of Grimsby.

    Bonus: Participants will receive a hiking badge and a beginner’s guidebook to help you take the next steps on your own!

    This program will be offered on Thursday, June 5 and Sunday, June 8. Both programs will feature the same information.

  • HMCS Haida Artillery Experience

    Embark on a unique adventure with our Enhanced Artillery Experience! This exclusive program provides participants with an in-depth historical and technical background on the 4” guns used aboard HMCS Haida during the Second World War and the Korean War.

    Participants will have the rare opportunity to load and fire the 4” guns on-board HMCS Haida, guided by a team of expert Parks Canada staff. Feel the rush as you don historic gun crew gear and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of naval warfare.

    Each ticket includes one complimentary spectator ticket. Spectators can watch but not participate in the Artillery Experience.

    This enhanced program is available on a pre-booked basis only, offering an unforgettable experience for history enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike.

  • Unmasking Brain Injury: Opening Reception

    Join us on Thursday, June 12 from 6–8 p.m. for the opening of Unmasking Brain Injury, a powerful and moving mini exhibit presented in partnership with the Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA). This exhibit invites you to discover brain injury through art and personal expression—each mask on display represents a survivor’s lived experience, capturing a deeply personal journey of resilience, recovery, and hope.

    The Unmasking Brain Injury project is part of an international movement with a mission to:

    -Raise awareness about the prevalence and impact of brain injury
    -Give survivors a voice and a platform to educate others about life after brain injury
    -Advocate for dignity, respect, and inclusion for those living with an acquired brain injury

  • Murder Mystery at HMCS Haida

    Back by popular demand is a brand-new Murder Mystery at HMCS Haida! How popular you ask? So popular we have added an extra night! Commander Martin is looking for some keen detectives to help uncover a murderer in a classic "who done it?" with a historical twist. Explore the ship to uncover clues and interview suspects with hopes of finding the guilty party. Prizes to be given to some, and fun to be had by all.

    The community of Port Dalhousie will be having a community wide garage sale. Houses from all over Port are participating with their own sale. St John's church in Port is also participating. We encourage any treasure hunters to come out for the day and walk around Port Dalhousie.
