    If you like interior design, architecture, and seasonal decorations, the annual Niagara-on-the-Lake Rotary Holiday House Tour is for you. Tour 7 gorgeous, beautifully decorated homes; visit local historic and cultural sites; sample complimentary tastings from 3 featured wineries and a winery/distillery; and enjoy specially priced luncheons for attendees as well! And all the profits go to charitable causes.

  • Fantasy of Trees

    Experience the joy of Christmas with your family and friends by heading to the Grimsby Museum during our event dates to see dozens of decorated seasonal trees, wreaths and prizes. If you’d like to win the displayed items to take home in early-December, you can purchase raffle tickets or bid on our online auction. 

    As always admission and entrance to our magical event is FREE. Don’t forget to visit the Museum’s own gift shop while you’re there. 

    All the proceeds from the 2025 event go to 10 local registered charities.

  • Victorian Candlelight Christmas Tour

    The McArthur Family, the Rotary Club of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and the Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum are delighted to host a special evening in support of the Museum’s expansion project, and in celebration of 130 years in the community.

    ​Set against the backdrop of the magnificent 1829 brick Georgian home—immortalized in several of Trisha Romance’s beloved paintings—the McArthur Estate offers 10 acres of enchanting Victorian gardens, intimate outdoor spaces, and timeless holiday charm.

    ​Inside, guests will be welcomed with a seasonal drink and the enchanting sounds of live chamber music by the Soenen Sisters. Wander through both the first and second floors of the home, each adorned with exquisite holiday décor.

    Local author Yvonne Van Lankveld joins us to launch her third book, Follow Polly’s Lane, a novel that exposes the separate dramas of two female neighbours with differing values after a violent storm implodes their lives. A portion of book sales will be donated to the Fonthill Branch renovation.
