A Garrison Christmas
Come and experience Christmas traditions from the early 1800s!
Fort George will be decorated for the holiday season with traditional decorations of garland and natural greenery, roaring fires in the Officer’s Quarters, hot beverages, yummy treats and more! Join us for a fun filled afternoon of history, crafts, games, and music! Learn about Christmas traditions from the early 1800s, while touring the various buildings at Fort George.
No visit to Fort George is complete without musket demonstrations, which will be happening throughout the afternoon!

Candlelit Christmas Tours
Join a cozy candlelit tour to delve deeper into the storied past of the Homestead and discover how the farming families of this old house celebrated the Christmas season across two centuries.
Tours are 50 minutes in length and begin every hour, on the hour. Last tour leaves at 7 p.m. on Thursday & Friday, and 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Space is limited, pre-registration required.
