    Whether you’re curious about the sport, looking for a new challenge, or just want to enjoy a fun day outdoors this is your chance! No experience needed. Our friendly coaches and volunteers will guide you through the basics and get you out on the water safely.

  • Author Talk: Before the Guns Roared with Mark Wilkie

    Join us for an engaging evening with local author Mark Wilkie, as he shares insights from his five-part historical fiction series, Before the Guns Roared.

    Spanning the years leading up to the War of 1812, the series brings to life real ancestral stories rooted in the Niagara region. Drawing on his own family history and experience as a reenactor and guide at Fort Erie, Wilkie blends careful historical research with compelling storytelling.

    Through richly illustrated narratives and detailed character biographies, Before the Guns Roared explores the human side of war—revealing the emotional impact of conflict on families, communities and everyday lives.

  • Fonthill Bandshell Concert Series: The Usual Suspects

    The Usual Suspects are five dedicated music-loving veterans who have been entertaining in the Niagara Region live music circuit for the last dozen years. The band's shows have been very well received, with people commenting on the solid instrumentation and on the soaring multi-part harmonies that have become our trademark. We have a sizable repertoire of tunes at our disposal, and are constantly adding and updating them to suit the needs of the venue. The Usual Suspects will be playing the classic and contemporary songs that your patrons know and love!

  • Ride for Dad Niagara

    Established in 2010, the Niagara Motorcycle Ride for Dad has raised over $1 Million dollars for the fight against prostate cancer. The proceeds from our annual events are invested in ground-breaking prostate cancer research and life-saving public awareness campaigns of the disease and the importance of early detection.
