Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
Come join us for Easter fun at the Grantham Optimist Club on April 13th for breakfast with the Easter Bunny.
A fun morning of pancakes and sausage, crafts, colouring, the Easter Bunny and an Easter Egg Hunt (weather permitting). Adults $10, children $5, 3 & under free!
Come any time between 9am-12pm, but please note the Easter Egg Hunt times:
Age 1-3: 9:30am Age 4-6: 10:15am Age 7-9: 10:45am Age 10-12: 11:15am

Easter Market
The market will bring together a curated selection of local artisans, small businesses, and unique vendors offering handcrafted products, Easter-themed goodies, seasonal decorations, and gifts. Attendees can enjoy a lively atmosphere and it will be a wonderful way for the community to support local businesses and embrace the spirit of Easter. The Easter Bunny mall display will be up and running, where you can have professional photos with the Easter Bunny.

Peninsula Paddlers Kayak Club Open House
The Peninsula Paddlers Kayak Club is a recreational paddling club with members who love to kayak. We have a diverse membership with paddle skills from beginners to advanced and everything in between.
The club hosts paddles two to three times a week throughout the Niagara Region and often ventures beyond to Hamilton, Buffalo, and Haldimand. For those who are looking for bigger adventures, the club hosts two to three multi day trips per paddle season where we venture farther afield for four to five days.
If you are looking for friends to paddle with, come check us out!

National Canadian Film Day - I Like Movies
National Canadian Film Day (CanFilmDay) is a massive, coast-to-coast-to-coast salute to Canadian cinema!
Socially awkward 17-year-old cinephile, Lawrence Kweller, played by Isaiah Lehtinen, is self-absorbed and movie-obsessed. Fully convinced he can earn $90,000 to achieve his dream of attending film school at NYU, he gets a part-time job at Sequels video store. There older store manager, Alana, played by Romina D'Ugo, takes him under her wing. Meanwhile Lawrence sabotages every high school relationship he has with his narcissistic film snobbery. Faced with the impending reality of university life, Lawrence must change his ways.

Off the Page - Poetry Reading/Open Mic
Dwayne Morgan and Daniel Maluka will read their poetry before an open mic segment for anyone that would like to share their work.
Dwayne Morgan began his career in the spoken word in 1993. Affectionally called the Godfather of Canadian spoken word by his peers. Morgan is the author of 16 published and 10 audio collections. Morgan is the 2023 Appointee to the Order of Ontario, and the 2022 winner of the Toronto Arts Foundation Celebration of Cultural Life award, a 2016 finalist for the Premier's Award for Excellence in the Arts and a 2013 inductee into the Scarborough Walk of Fame.
Daniel Maluka is a self-taught Toronto-based South African born Artist and writer. He merges Afrocentric influences with surrealist elements to explore the depths of the subconscious in his art. Daniel's visually captivating pieces have gained international recognition being featured in galleries across Toronto and collected worldwide. In additional to his visual art, Daniel has made notable contributions to literature. His works have been published in various magazines and he has led numerous poetry workshops. His debut poetry collection, Unwashed, was featured in CBC's "37 Most Anticipated Poetry Books for Spring 2024".

Hop into the Easter spirit with the Township of West Lincoln. The Township's free Community Easter Fest event runs rain or shine.
Petting Zoo Fire Truck Tours with West Lincoln Fire Services Trackless Train Rides Airbrush Tattoos Photos with the Easter Bunny and more! Visit each station and receive chocolate easter eggs.
Donations of non-perishable food items will be collected for West Lincoln Community Care.

Hoppin' Easter in Pelham
Hop on by Centennial Park for the Easter Egg Hunt for Pelham area youth.
Hunt for eggs, participate in Easter-inspired crafts, meet the Easter Bunny and enter the annual Easter Colouring Contest!
Egg Hunt will take place in designated age group areas for 5 and under, 6 to 9 years and 10 to 12 years.
Free hot dogs and warm beverages to follow, courtesy of the Fenwick Lions!
Donations will be collected on site for Pelham Cares!

EcoFest: An Earth Day Event
Everyone is invited to celebrate Earth Day at this free family event. If you are looking for something to do with your children, there will be a presentation of Birds! — Our Only Surviving Dinosaurs, taking place at 1:15 p.m. presented by Ontariogreen Conservation Association. Meet with members of 10+ local environmental groups including the WeeBee House, Wild At Heart, Substrata (organic) Farm, Val Fleming Butterfly Garden (native shrubs), Ontariogreen, Seniors for Climate Action Now!, Grimsby Environmental Network, Land Care Niagara (native seeds), Eco Club of Rotary, Biodiversity and Climate Action Niagara, Lincoln Library and the Bruce Trail Association. Find some native seeds to grow and learn more about Lincoln’s new Urban Forest Management policies. If you live in Lincoln, you are eligible to receive a native tree to plant by donation. A limited number of trees will be available at noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
