  • New Year's Eve Public Skate

    Ring in the New Year on Dec. 31 with a free public skate from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre. With all four pads open, one featuring a glow-in-the-dark experience and glow sticks for skaters, this is a fun, festive way to welcome 2025. Character visits and a family photo booth will add extra fun to this family-friendly New Year’s celebration. Registration is required and admission is free.

  • Christmas @ The Homestead: Homestead Holiday Tours

    Celebrate Christmas across two centuries of family farm life on a special candle-lit tour of the John Brown House. Enjoy hot chocolate as you are lead through the oldest home in St. Catharines, built beginning in 1796. Discover stories of the farming families who once lived here and learn how Christmas traditions changed over time into the twentieth century. Each room will be candle-lit and decorated to reflect a different historical era.

  • A Garrison Christmas

    Come and experience Christmas traditions from the early 1800s!

    Fort George will be decorated for the holiday season with traditional decorations of garland and natural greenery, roaring fires in the Officer’s Quarters, hot beverages, yummy treats and more! Join us for a fun filled afternoon of history, crafts, games, and music! Learn about Christmas traditions from the early 1800s, while touring the various buildings at Fort George.

    No visit to Fort George is complete without musket demonstrations, which will be happening throughout the afternoon!

  • Classic Albums Christmas
    This year’s Classic Albums Christmas presented by Youngs Insurance will be happening on Saturday, December 14th at the Croatian National Home, 6 Broadway, Welland. This is a one-time only opportunity to hear specific Classic Rock albums from the 80’s, 90’s, and 2000’s played by local musicians from across Niagara. 
     
    This group of musicians has been hosting the Classic Albums Christmas show, in support of The Hope Centre, for 13 years and has covered over 46 albums during that time.
