Students will explore the Twenty Valley Trail and Sho’arishon Park: a Neutral Nation legacy site, discovering the natural and cultural history of the land around the museum. Through interactive activities and guided discussion, learners will explore the geological forces that shaped Niagara, the importance of waterways, and the enduring connections Indigenous peoples have with this land.

The day will also include hand building with clay, where students will explore the history and traditions of pottery. Participants will examine real museum artifacts, learn about local Indigenous history, and create two clay pieces inspired by traditional making practices to take home.
