The Grimsby Santa Claus Parade is one of the longest running events in Grimsby. The parade was once a morning event, but in the year 2000 the parade was moved to an evening event to celebrate the millennium. It was such a success that it has remained an evening event ever since. Each year the parade consists of approximately 90 entries which includes community floats, walking groups, marching bands and various entertainment.
