  • Art At The Pumphouse

    Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre presents the premier event showcasing a diverse array of original works, including paintings, photography, woodwork, sculpture, glass, pottery, textiles, jewellery, and more. Bringing together artists and artisans from both the region and beyond, the in-person event takes place on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additionally, an online show will be available from July 14 to August 10, 2025.

    Our in person event provides guests a chance to view and acquire unique pieces amid a picturesque riverside backdrop, where they can also engage with artists and artisans. Our galleries showcase an array of outstanding pieces that are available for purchase.

    Additional highlights of the event:
    • An outdoor marketplace showcasing the craftsmanship of artisans.
    • Live demonstrations by artists, adding an interactive element to the show

  • Past is Present Heritage Festival

    Join us on the Museum’s front lawn for a “treasurers” sale, historic demonstrations, activities, food and artisan vendors, live music and more!  Free admission from 11 am to 3 pm. Our street will be blocked off in front of the Museum to accommodate all the fun!

  • Music at Nelles Manor: Mark Donoghue

    Mark Donoghue is an Ontario-based multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and looper artist, who tours the world with his award-winning one man show. He plays live looping violin, guitar, harmonica along with vocals.
    His latest show, “Northern Tales”, a tribute to the Folk Music of Canada, has recently premiered to rave reviews on Viking Cruises.
    His original music is influenced by the folk, pop and classical traditions of his native British Isles as well as his adopted home of Canada. He also brings a fresh, modern edge to his own original interpretations of folk, rock and pop classics.

  • Hot Summer Nights

    On Wednesday nights this summer, fire trucks and fire prevention staff will visit various parks from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., transforming trucks into giant sprinklers. Attendees will also get to tour the trucks and learn about fire safety. Hot Summer Nights is a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together, learn about fire safety, and enjoy some summer fun!

  • Jane Austen Tea Party

    Jane Austen was an English author from the early 19th century, whose work is contemporary to the time period portrayed at Fort George, and provides a glimpse into the middle & upper class lifestyles of the regency period which is something many officers left behind when they came to Upper Canada. 

    This regency evening will include book trivia, book discussion, shopping, period games, tea & treats down at picturesque Navy Hall! Participants can try writing with a quill pen in the style of Jane Austen, as well as other fun regency-era activities!  Participants who come dressed in period costume will receive a 10% discount in our gift shop!
