Birding For Beginners
In this introduction to Birding for Beginners, Bruce Mackenzie will guide us and discuss the varied species that can be found at the Grimsby Wetlands. How this rich and diverse habitat is so important and has become home for migrating and unique species of birds. How can they be identified, why are they here, what they eat, where they live and what they sound like will all be discussed. Bruce is an award-winning naturalist and his passion lately has been looking after this natural gem, the Grimsby Wetlands. Attendance is limited to 25 people and no dogs are allowed.

Grimsby Historical Society presents Bonnie Sitter "Onion Skins & Peach Fuzz: Memories of Ontario Farmerettes"
The Grimsby Historical Society presents Guest Speaker Bonnie Sitter - Author, Photographer and King Charles III Coronation Medal Recipient.
Bonnie co-authored the 2019 book, "Onion Skins and Peach Fuzz: Memories of Ontario Farmerettes", which tells the story of young women who left home to work on farms during WWII.
Bonnie's hobbies include photography and writing. Her love of nature and history are visible in the books she has written and her articles and photos are regulary published in "The Rural Voice". Bonnie is the Historical Producer of the documentary "We Lend a Hand - The Forgotten Story of Ontario Farmerettes" - which premieres June 6, 2025.

38th Annual Pelham Art Festival
All art lovers are welcome to attend the festival to listen to live music, browse and meet over 80 juried artists’ collections and even take home your favourite piece! The online festival also takes place for the entire month of May, where you can browse all selected artwork. Festival proceeds benefit the Lincoln Pelham Public Libraries and provide annual scholarships to graduating Pelham students who are pursuing post-secondary studies in fine arts from E.L. Crossley Secondary School and Notre Dame College School. The Festival also supports various community art projects.
