    This Christmas, make a Stocking of Love to be delivered to long-term care homes and seniors "in need" who are alone in our community. 

  • Fantasy of Trees

    Experience the joy of Christmas with your family and friends by heading to the Grimsby Museum during our event dates to see dozens of decorated seasonal trees, wreaths and prizes. If you’d like to win the displayed items to take home in early-December, you can purchase raffle tickets or bid on our online auction. 

    As always admission and entrance to our magical event is FREE. Don’t forget to visit the Museum’s own gift shop while you’re there. 

    All the proceeds from the 2025 event go to 10 local registered charities.

  • GAMRU South Shore Search & Rescue Online Silent Auction

    GAMRU South Shore Search and Rescue is a registered charity providing emergency marine search and rescue on Lake Ontario. Funds raised for the auction support critical operating expenses (equipment, training, fuel) for our all-volunteer community funded unit.

    For more than 30 years, Grimsby Auxiliary Marine Rescue Uint South Shore Search and Rescue has been a community-based volunteer unit, relying almost entirely on local generosity to operate, train, and equip our 40+ volunteer members to save lives on Lake Ontario.

  • Off the Page - Poetry Reading/Open Mic

    Matthew-Ray Jones and Maria Giesbrecht will read their poetry before an open mic segment for anyone that would like to share their work.

    Matthew-Ray Jones, also known as Testament, is a connoisseur of anything and everything involving words. From poetry, spoken word and emceeing to facilitating, hosting and keynoting, Matthew-Ray has been using his natural speaking abilities to inspire audiences for over 20 years. He has performed and taught nationally from coast to coast. He has performed internationally in Venezuela and Italy and has travelled to six continents. To date, he has recorded three albums and shared the stage with Talib Kweli, Naughty by Nature, Biz Markie, GZA, Kardinal Offishall, Saukrates, DāM-FunK and more. Matthew-Ray has appeared on Breakfast Television, CP24, MuchMusic, MTV and Rogers TV.

    Maria Giesbrecht is a Canadian poet whose work explores her Mexican and Mennonite roots. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in The Literary Review of Canada, Grain, CV2, Queen's Quarterly, and elsewhere. She is the winner of the 2025 Lesley Strutt Poetry Prize and the 2025 Jack McCarthy Book Prize, a Best of Net nominee, and the founder of Gather, an international writing community that connects poets worldwide. Born in Durango, Mexico, she now lives near Toronto, Canada with her fiancée.
