Feed Niagara with 88.5 The Lake
88.5 The Lake calls upon our community to support the Grimsby and Niagara Food Banks during their time of need.

The 88.5 The Lake Events Cruiser is always accepting donations as well! Find Tyler on the weekends to make a donation.

Village of Hope Niagara Porch Pickup and Food and Fund Drive
We encourage you to please fill up a bag or box with food items (double-up on items at the grocers. We need what you need.) and leave it on the porch at your home, between 10AM-12PM, for collection by our volunteers. Come out and enjoy a BBQ and musical performance by Lincoln Concert Band in the Parking lot of Culp's Foodland Vineland from 3:30 to 5:30PM. All proceeds to benefit the programs and work of Village of Hope Niagara in Lincoln.
Drop-off donations can be made at Calvary Gospel Church calvarygospel.ca 4139 Hixon Street, Beamsville and Village of Hope Niagara 2540 South Service Road Jordan Station.

Lake-to-Lake Challenge
Join the Niagara Chapter for Huntington Disease Canada in the Lake-to-Lake Challenge this May!
May is Huntington Awareness month, and on Saturday, May 25th we'll be walking to raise funds for research and support services to help improve the quality of life for those affected by HD. The event will take place at the Welland Canal Parkway Trail, which runs from St. Catharines to Port Colborne, and you can join in at any time throughout the day.
Registration, donations, and information booths will be available at the Allanburg Bridge Parking Lot on HWY 20 starting at 10 am.

Guided Hike with the NPCA
Join St. Catharines Public Library and the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA) for a guided hike of Burgoyne Woods (70 Edgedale Rd., St. Catharines). Learn about the plants, animals, forest restoration and quality green spaces in cities.
This hike will last approximately 45 - 60 minutes and is considered easy difficulty. Participants are encouraged to take their time if there are uneven areas. Sturdy shoes are necessary. Please dress for the weather and bring your own water. Children and families are encouraged to participate! Caregivers are responsible for the care of their children. Meeting point for start: Join us at the picnic shelter (beyond the parking loop and closer to the dog park). Walk-ins are welcome, registering below will enable you to receive a reminder email..

Introduction to American Sign Language for Families
In this 4-week series, Special Guest, Christina Moreau, OCT ASL Professor from George Brown College and Lecturer from Toronto Metropolitan University, will be teaching us some basic and practical phrases in American Sign Language that you can use in everyday conversations. Learn how to greet someone, introduce yourself, and more! The workshop will be taught by a Deaf teacher.
A caregiver is required to attend with their child in order to facilitate communication.
