We are excited to welcome author Kai Thomas to discuss their book In the Upper Country, the selected title for the 2024 One Book, One Niagara initiative. This event will take place in the Welland Centennial Secondary School on April 23 at 7PM.

Kai Thomas is a writer, carpenter, and land steward. He is Afro-Canadian, born and raised in Ottawa, descended from Trinidad and the British Isles. In the Upper Country is his first novel.

Copies of In the Upper Country will be available for purchase during the event. Kai will be available for signings following the conclusion of the event.
