  • Carnaval D'Hiver 2024 at the l’Auberge Richelieu

    Everyone, regardless of age, is invited to participate in the winter carnival that will take place at the l’Auberge Richelieu (565 River Road, Welland) on Sunday, February 4th.

    Breakfast marks the start of the day at 8:30 am. Starting at 9 am, children will have the opportunity to participate in the various free activities of the Carnival, such as crafts, skill games, horse drawn hayrides and much more. Kids also have a chance to win prizes just for participating (offered by Desjardins). Also, let’s not forget our special guest, le Bonhomme Carnaval.

    PROGRAM

    8:30 – 12 p.m. Enjoy a pancake breakfast – with sausages, bacon, baked beans,
    juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.
    • Adults: $5
    • Children under 12 receive a free meal.
    9 – 1 p.m. Crafts, activities and visit of le Bonhomme Carnaval
    9 – 11 a.m. Horse-drawn hay wagon rides.
    10 – 10:30 a.m. Official opening with speech by dignitaries.
    10 a.m. Maple Taffy Tasting – Thanks to Club Richelieu Niagara Falls
    10 – 12 p.m. Fire truck
    11 :30 a.m. Yummy Beaver tails
    1 p.m. Draw results!
